Father Ray Kelly Biography

The last 20 months have been a bit of a blur for Oldcastle priest, Father Ray Kelly. Since the video of him singing "Hallelujah" at the wedding of Leah and Chris O'Kane went viral, Father Ray has travelled the World promoting his debut album "Where I Belong" and telling people his story of being a 27 year old civil servant who decided to become a priest.

And people have loved his story and his music. His album was certified platinum in Ireland and he achieved a long held ambition to headline his own concert at the World Famous Olympia Theatre in Dublin. He had a #1 Christian album in the US following his performance of "Danny Boy" on Fox News on St Patrick's Day. He even got to march in the famous New York St Patrick's Day with the contingent from his home county of Westmeath. He has performed on TV shows all over the World from the US to Germany to Australia, picking up fans along the way who have formed German and Dutch language fan-clubs on Facebook.

At the same time as Father Ray releases his Christmas album, he is proud to announce that he will be donating a percentage of the profits of the sales of this album and his live concerts to the Kiltegan Fathers St Patrick's Missionary Society, where he started his journey as a Catholic priest. Ray travelled all over the World to work for the society and he wanted to use his musical journey to benefit the society that he loves.
