This is the second part, the album Alkohol was the first one and this is the sequel. Both were recorded with Bregovic's incredible 20 piece ‘Wedding And Funeral Band'. The whole concept is steeped in tradition - traditionally music was played to accompany drinking. As Bregovic puts it: "My album 'Champagnel' is a modest attempt to bridge the gap by making music that can be enjoyed and danced to with or without champagne".
