1995 Biography

French urban hip hop / rap ‘posse’ 8 song mini-album. Coming together in Paris just last year Sneazzy, Areno Jaz, Alpha Wann, Nekfeu, Fonky Flav ', DJ and Lo created and recorded some tracks at home and received impressive scores on Youtube. Just a few months later their debut release ‘La Source’ got off to a great start. They are credited with shaking French rap out of its torpor – they have reinvented what rap seemed to have forgotten: originality, freestyle, enthusiasm, versatility and virtousity. Fast forward to 2012, La Suite goes further than ‘La Source’, picked up by major label Universal, mixing up old school influences with more modern sounds. 1995 have a huge ‘buzz’ in France right now, all grown through the power of the internet. Their first ever tour in France is Sold Out. Youtube views over half a million within a week of uploading the video of ‘La Suite’ Young, self managed and creative, this group work with upcoming young directors on their videos.
